My First Website is Finally up!!!

The Information Systems program has taught me really important lessons. One of those lessons is to always improve yourself and never stop learning.

When I first got into the program, I had almost no knowledge about websites and servers and all that. So I knew I had to step up and start learning. I decided to help my best friend's mom's company to build its website. I wasn't sure of what I was getting into, but it was definitely something that I wanted and need it to learn.

The company that I'm making the website for is called Main Services, they primarily focus in money transfer, notary public, general services such us photocopies, and filing taxes in Houston.

Internship for Summer 2011 and My Current One

I recently got hired as an intern for Ernst and Young, which is one of the big 4 accounting firms. I'll be working in the area of Washington DC, more specifically the office in McLean, VA. It's gonna be a great experience for my career path and I'm definitely ready to face new challenges, like if school doesn't have enough already.

As for my current internship, I 'm still learning new techniques for SEO (Search Engine Optimization). I've been reassigned to a new company. I'll be helping Harris Federal Law Firm, a disability retirement company. So far I have summited a new article in Ezine Articles, but it has not been published yet. I will make the link available when the article has been accepted.

Who am I ???

My name is Kelvin Flores, I am originally from El Salvador. Right now I am studying Information Systems at BYU.  I am working as an intern for Accelerating Marketing. At the moment I am learning Search Engine Optimization (SEO).  Part of my job is to write articles for a specific companies to improve their Google ratings. 

I am also starting to write this blog, which in reality is not that difficult, but finding the topics to talk about in each of the posts is the hard part.
